Graduate Placement Site
Placements with TVPI provide opportunities for graduate students to learn cultural approaches to therapy, work under the professional supervision of a LCSW and gain access to professional development.
TVPI offers Graduate Field Placements for students from SJSU, CSUMB, USC, University of Massachusetts Global/Brandman, Pepperdine, and Northwestern University in Chicago
Placements with TVPI provide opportunities for graduate students to:
learn cultural approaches to therapy,
work under the professional supervision of a LCSW
gain access to professional development
Service learning opportunities will include experiences working with youth from diverse backgrounds. Students will gain first-hand knowledge of the cultures, communities, strengths and challenges these youth are struggling with. Students will formulate social justice and social equity strategies designed to empower the TVPI youth, their families and their communities.
